jimbo jones
In typical Derbyshire fashion, we had Glamorgan 217-8, and they go into lunch 282-
jimbo jones
365-8 now ?♂️
jimbo jones
380-8 now Du Plooy into his 5th over of left arm spin, the same amount as Critchley....whilst the medium pacers have been going around the park for the past hour.
jimbo jones
Du Plooy gets the wicket of Wagg ? after the ex Derbyshire bowler had brought up his century....
jimbo jones
Derbyshire close on 221-2 reece out in the twenties again, keeps getting starts but not converting. Madsen hit 3 fours and a six on the way to a very quick 20 before getting out. Godleman & Lace unbeaten on 86 & 78 then batted very nicely until the end. jimbo jones
Morning session was rained off, play under way now, Godleman and Reece have both picked up centuries and the partnership is over 200 ???

The games not being played at Sophia Gardens, as I guess it’s on World Cup duty, it’s being played at St Helens in Swansea. It has a bit of a reputation of being a good batting track unless the tide is in and then it swings all over the place...it’s close to the sea. jimbo jones
Lace out for 143, Godleman still going, if we can get a bit of lead it could be an interesting last day tomorrow...weather permitting.

eddie
Career best by Godleman now - just gone past his previous HS of 204. Of course, Tom Lace's score was a PB too - maiden century.
jimbo jones
504-4 at close a much needed half century for Hosein as well.

jimbo jones
Play to start at 12:55 (hopefully). Enough time to force a result? It will take a collapse of Derbyshire proportions from Glamorgan.
jimbo jones
Declared with a lead just a touch over 200, right thing to do, at least have a go at winning the game and see what happens.
eddie
No play yet. Sitting at home waiting for result of pitch inspection at 12:20. Not hopeful of anything happening for a while - coffee made, Tynt Meadow beer in the cooler, sandwiches made - just need some cricket.
