Norwich..... On the ball cIty

Chelsea .....blue is the colour

Arsenal....good old Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur..... Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur.

Man Utd........ Glory Glory Man Utd

Not quite what I meant, glory glory is a chant used by many teams, all but the Norwich one was written as seventies singles to celebrate Cup finals.

It's celebrates nothing more than the fact a couple of fans could afford to hire a recording studio and as for tradition, well there's more history and tradition in a bowl of Wagamama noodles.

Always wondered why that ancient folksong "the Derby Ram" wasn't adopted decades ago.

"As I was goin' to Derby  twas on a market day

I saw the finest Ram sir that ever was fed on hay!

Etc etc etc etc etc"

when did this start as a 'thing'?  Through our glory years I can't recall it and to me it has no emotional link to DCFC.

Around 97ish. Jim Smith and the team were on the original singing it.

If they reworked the verses then I think Steve Bloomers Watching would be a very good song. The chorus is good but if you listen to the song as a whole the verse always came across a bit rubbish (and over produced to hide it). Probably just needs the chorus slowing down a bit.

Also what happened to Since I Was Young? Thought it was one of the better chants we had in recent years

Even worse than West Ham's buttock clenching "I'm forever blowing bubbles"

We used to sing that back in the day....

I'm forever throwing bottles

Pretty bottles in the air

They fly so high, they reach the sky,

Then they hit some .... in the eye,

Tottenham's always running,

Chelsea, West Ham too...

Derby's always running, a running after you!!!

Derby clap clap clap, Derby clap clap clap

Beautiful stuff ❤️

Sung in faux Mockney accent if you want to be in tune with Robert Lindsay...

Would a faux mockney accent actually be a real cockney accent?  Hmm... I wonder...
