Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur. Man Utd........ Glory Glory Man Utd Not quite what I meant, glory glory is a chant used by many teams, all but the Norwich one was written as seventies singles to celebrate Cup finals. It's celebrates nothing more than the fact a couple of fans could afford to hire a recording studio and as for tradition, well there's more history and tradition in a bowl of Wagamama noodles. Bartok 1 Posted February 11 Always wondered why that ancient folksong "the Derby Ram" wasn't adopted decades ago. "As I was goin' to Derby twas on a market day I saw the finest Ram sir that ever was fed on hay! Etc etc etc etc etc" Share this post Link to post
Spanish 1,592 Posted February 11 when did this start as a 'thing'? Through our glory years I can't recall it and to me it has no emotional link to DCFC. Share this post Link to post

Jim Smith and the team were on the original singing it. 2 Spanish and Derby4Me reacted to this Share this post Link to post

TuffLuff 2,030 Posted February 11 If they reworked the verses then I think Steve Bloomers Watching would be a very good song. The chorus is good but if you listen to the song as a whole the verse always came across a bit rubbish (and over produced to hide it). Probably just needs the chorus slowing down a bit. Also what happened to Since I Was Young? Thought it was one of the better chants we had in recent years Share this post Link to post
