I wondered if they're was a connection, seeing as he came from Blackpool. William Roache was a business partner of Owen Oyston, the Blackpool owner, and the third partner in that business was Stuart Hall. I'm saying nowt, mind. We're talking about an Ilson family here. Generations work differently there. They can have kids in their 70's, just as easily as in their pre-teens. Having a sibling 40 (or even 50) years older/younger is not uncommon! ...And before the kickin' starts, I'm married to an Ilson lass... I know these things! ;-)
