Green netting arround training ground

DCFC27

We have put green netting around the training ground in an attempt to  make it more difficult for outsiders to see in... Surely Black would have made it less transparent as you can see through the netting on the photos and more 'on Brand' ...

What is the point of that. Why didnt they buy something that it is actually opaque. Construction sites use it all the time - I'm sure we could have got some with some DCFC branding on or even got some advertisements on it. Or just make it solid green if you dont want it to stand out too much.

Please tell me someone went to anchor surplus in Ripley and asked them for all the camo netting they had.

They sell loads of useful stuff we could use such as....

those balaclavas that IRA paramilitaries and rapists wear, with just the eye holes and mouth holes

the top off a helicopter with the rotars missing (i'm saying nothing)

lots of pairs of used and visibly soiled trainers for the bargain price of £18 a pair?

an outdoor table that looks like it came out of a skip (£125 only)

a selection of caps and berets useful for dressing up and wife swapping parties

long johns

sleeping bags

a large missile

those fold up aluminium saucepans that give you alzheimers

Camouflage netting to put over your own head

Ammunition boxes (empty)

Safety boots and fluorescent jackets

Big nails

England flags

perfect selection - just in time for br exit.

I love that place. First time I ever went there they had a Vickers Venom (1950s jet fighter) on a pole above the far Park. Also seen armoured cars for sale there and all sorts of stuff.

Don't you have to put some kind of note on these things saying you're being paid to advertise?

I heard that after they surrounded the training pitch with nets, all of the players ran onto the pitch apart from tom lawrence who missed and ran into the car park.
