Which centre backs would have been inspiring? It’s not the most glamorous of positions as it is, and when we’re up against the limit we were never going to be bringing a big name in. Nice to see most would rather Elder leave than Pennington if they had to cut one. Consensus is he's not a fullback, but most would have him in at centre half.
