Ipswich v Derby tickets

Tried to ascertain information from our TWTD fans page but thus far no response.    Way I see it, tickets on sale that night should be equally priced for home and visitors but may be subject to change.       Wouldn't imagine many in attendance, we only took around 600 to Blackburn Rovers yesterday and Portman Road has many empty seats on many occasion, but for the £ 12.00 suggested it seems a satisfactory price.    Keep in mind when Derby visit you'll most likely get a victory anyway, so you're essentially paying small charge for a near guaranteed victory.

Won't be going to this one but have had some great days out at Ipswich.

I was at Frannie Lee's last game for us in 1976 when we won 6-2 and the great man scored two. Derby fans every where that day, there's some footage somewhere of the game and you can see one of the home stands full of sheepshaggers having a party ?

Went to several other games over the years down there and had equally good days but one in particular was very memorable.

My lads 21st coincided with a trip to Ipswich in 2004 so a few of us (including some non DCFC fans) left Utcheter early doors on the train. We had sussed out that we could get to Ipswich for £21 each by going across country via Nottingump, Grantham, Peterborough, Ely to Ipswich instead of £70 from Derby via London so off we went determined to spend what we'd saved on beer.

No dark fruit drinkers amongst us.....

On Derby station a gentlemen who one of our number knew, asked if we minded him tagging on, he was a certain DLF chap who had contributed to several hoolie porn books but who turned out to be an excellent guide as he had lived in Ipswich at one point,  some older lads will know who he is no doubt.

By the time we reached Ipswich we had consumed enough non dark fruit ale to sink Kenny Burns and proceeded to drink round the pubs in some style. Our DLF friend looked after us and got us to the ground and all the way back on the train somehow, at one point holding up a connection until we was all on board.

We always rated that day out on the humungous hangovers we suffered. Always found Ipswich as a great place to drink and decent fans as well.

I was there too. I was a 10 year old Rams fan living in Ipswich and got carried down Portman Road on the shoulders of a Derby fan post match.  Could have even been you @uttoxram75!

Confirmed - straight from the horses mouth (a Suffolk Punch obviously). Great, that's £20 extra for beer and curry!

Hi

I can confirm that this would be the price for Derby fans too.
