Good to see Roos keep his spot - hopefully he can carry on the same way he played at Southampton. As for the rest of the team absolutely no arguments with that. I would suggest that is our strongest team of all the players in our squad.

It will be interesting see if any of the younger lads get a chance to day as well.

Think it depends how we’re doing. Evans, Bennett, Nugent will almost definitely come on. Good chance of Bird coming on if we’re winning. A small chance of Buchanan or Wilson coming on - this’ll be part of their learning experience of being in a 1st team match day squad

Interesting one that there is no spot for Carson. Could there have been a cheeky bid for him and Frank sees it as a way of freeing up funds to strengthen. Who knows, that's a post match discussion point. Regardless we have a game to win that will give us an indication of where we are at. An "after the lord mayors show" type performance would be worrying but if we can do the business then it will go a long way to alleviating those inconsistency worries.
