I now own a Pixel 3 as well as an iPhone, set there Pixel up, the numbers I need in that phone stored, they were even backed up to Google as I see them there on my account. Maybe a week later in WhatsApp I see a bunch of numbers, check contacts they are all gone, the only apps I open were Chrome for the forum, Gmail, WhatsApp and Twitter. How any of those have the capabilities to remove contacts I don't know. Luckily iCloud just works so I copied the ones over again that went missing.
