Comrade 86
Mourinho's net spend at United exceeds £300 million. He can keep moaning that the board have failed to back him but it's hard to see him surviving long after that performance. Three horse race after only 3 games. SSD
Tonight proving yet again why Phil Jones and Chris Smalling shouldn't be anywhere near the England squad. Absolute shambles the pair of them. They've had so much time to improve and they're both still useless at defending. I keep forgetting they're 26 and 28.

Bris Vegas
I actually thought United were unlucky. They were the better team in the first half, Lukaku missed a sitter, Fred and Pogba had decent efforts. Second half woeful defending cost them. Mourinho can’t really have any complaints. He bought Bailly and Lindelof. Is it any wonder their chief exec doesn’t want to spend another £30m or more on a defender when he’s already wasted a shed load on two CBs. They need direction, an identity, a playing style. City, Liverpool and Spurs have one. Chelsea under Sarri will have one. United look like a team of individuals, with Mou hoping solid defending and individual play will suffice. Football has moved on. Alexis Sanchez, £500k per week, doesn’t even make the first-team. What a mess.

RamNut
Um....bad result. Man city spend, spend, spend and still took quite a while to build the current team. they had plenty of failures along the way. United just can't keep up with that and they are losing ground. They looked nothing when we played them (but still spooked growett into bringing on jamie Hanson). Sanchez was a strange signing because he looked finished at arsenal. Lindelof has never convinced. Mata hated mourinho from chelsea. Lukaku looks heavy. Ultimately its hard to know whether to stick or twist with many of these players. its too late for this transfer window anyway. Bris Vegas
Mourinho demands respect. This is the same guy which called Wenger a specialist in failure, eye-gauged Tito Villanova, said Pep hasn’t won a ‘fair’ Champions League, bullied Pellegrini and turned on Rafa Benitez. The fact he brought up the 3 PL titles means he has actually researched it in advance, and waited for the opportune moment to say it. Who does that? David
HT Leicester 0-2 Liverpool, Mane and Firmino. If one team will push City this year it’s Liverpool.
