Derbylad92
Every time we go 442 we look alot stronger, we dont need that defensive mid anymore it doesnt work for us anymore and marriott is looking exposed every game because teams have realised what we are about
Derbylad92
Get marriott and waghorn up top together both fast, stronge, work hard and goal scorers! Other team defenders would hate it.
Sexydadbod
3-5-2? Carson Evans Keogh Tomori Holmes Huddlestone Malone Wilson Mount Waghorn Marriott Adds another defender, gets two up front and our best midfield. A few noted that Holmes doesn’t score or assist enough, could be an option as a wing back.
Ilsonram12
Scrap this DM formation, Evans not the answer and is too lightweight, Huddlestone too slow, needs a strong character in that position, like eustace was or Thorne in his prime new fullbacks needed too, Lowe got torn one by a kid making his full debut and wisdoms form is awful at the moment

I would be happy with this even tho i prefer holmes down the middle its a shame hes not that bit bigger because you could have him in the huddlestone roll

BramcoteRam84
Let’s decide at some point in the next 6 games if the formation is right or not. We’re 6th FFS!

Hes awful tho always gets beaten easy and never works back and hes slow as anything. when hes right back he only ever looks down the line. No where else but hes better when left back because he only look right he achually finds cm in space, he would be alot better cb then rb!

deano180
The first thing I would like to see before we even look at formations is someone from the management and coaching team to sort out our ability to stop crosses please.
The_Sheriff
Change a formation because we lost to the league leaders? this formation has us up in 6th.
Millenniumram
Doesn’t matter what formation we play if we can’t pass a basic ball, bottle out of challenges and defend like morons. Hoofball in 442 will be just as ineffective as it is in 433. We need to return to basics and an identity before we piss about with formations. Sparkle
442 may work for us 352 maybe even better for us because we simply don’t need our full backs currently and the defensive midfielder because they give us nothing and stop no one everyone who chose to criticise Forsyth think again
goldstar
Bang on! If you can't pass, intercept and react quick to get the second ball, no amount of formation chopping and changing is going to help. I've also noticed that we seem so bad at anticipating where the ball will land when it's up in the air/ using common sense to get into good positions to win the second ball and this means we're always on the back foot. I'm really bad at explaining it but it's like we are chasing shadows.
RadioactiveWaste
Could we play 442? Carson Bogel, Keogh, Tomori, Lowe Joseofzoon Wilson Mount Holmes Waghorn Marriott Basically give up on midfield and have lots of smart counter attacks? Would mean the midfield pair have to cover a lot more ground.

Its true but the last 4/5 games when he changes to 442 it helps us going forward marriott is just exposed every game when we play with 1 up top our midfield are far to deep
