I think he would do well but that’s not where we need strengthening

we need more strength in defence and midfield ( which I still think isn’t balanced)

i would also like a big plan B striker

happy with how we play this year so that’s a big plus for me

I think its exactly where we need strengthening.

with wilson dropping into midfield, the trio of mount, wilson and evans could be the base around which we build.

marriott is fine. Therefore who will play wide?.

bennett injured. Lawrence under performing. Waggy not quite at the races, holmes maybe. Zoon in and out.  None of them are left footed.

Why not jacob murphy?

Newcastle might be more willing to deal with Derby than Huddersfield.

I don't know what a Waggy is but we've got a player called Waghorn who's left footed.

True. But we play him on the right? We don't seem to have found a natural left sided player.

Not sure whether Murphy is that player, but no harm in looking.

Don’t particulary rate him, got a trick or two but he’ll just end up another Lawrence imo, ain’t a very intelligent player from what I’ve seen. Stats this season don’t look promising either. Don’t think it’s likely either way mind.

I’d quite happily take another Lawerence, just for interest how many times have you seen him play, not saying your wrong as I personally don’t have a scoooby about him.

Not many times, odd sub appearance watching a Newcastle game and I think (?) he played in our game against Norwich last year. Obviously has something about him otherwise Newcastle wouldn’t have bought him, but his stats don’t look great. I mean don’t get me wrong I think Lawrence has great ability, but he’s a maverick and I think we have enough of them now.

I am more than frustrated by Lawrence but he does score goals and Murphy doesn’t
