RamNut Posted January 2, 2019 Share Posted January 2, 2019 I think its exactly where we need strengthening. with wilson dropping into midfield, the trio of mount, wilson and evans could be the base around which we build. marriott is fine. Therefore who will play wide?. bennett injured. Lawrence under performing. Waggy not quite at the races, holmes maybe. Zoon in and out. None of them are left footed. Why not jacob murphy? I’d quite happily take another Lawerence, just for interest how many times have you seen him play, not saying your wrong as I personally don’t have a scoooby about him. Not many times, odd sub appearance watching a Newcastle game and I think (?) he played in our game against Norwich last year. Obviously has something about him otherwise Newcastle wouldn’t have bought him, but his stats don’t look great.
