If he is as good as a lot of people say, then he will be the standout player week in week in the U23's and that should be the only shop window required for any scouts, or indeed for FL to realise he should be in the first team squad. Key clubber Posted December 30, 2018 Share Posted December 30, 2018 I wonder how many people have actually seen George play recently , I’ve watched him in the under 23’s 3 or 4 times and he’s looked very ordinary , completely overshadowed by Sibley, this is the player we should be looking at getting in the first team. As good as George was all them seasons ago under Mac , he’s been nowhere near that standard since, while I admire how he’s fought his way back to play football again, he certainly doesn’t warrant a place in the first team.
