Reading centre-back Tiago Ilori has signed for Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon

Always thought he was rubbish. Surprised Sporting would want him.

“Aston Villa are on the verge of signing Caen full-back Frederic Guilbert.

Villa have agreed to pay £4.4m for Guilbert.

They will then loan the 24-year-old back to Caen for the remainder of the season.

Guilbert is a former France Under-21 international joined Caen from Bordeaux in 2017 after previously spending a year at the club on loan.”

Able to spend nearly £5m on a player they don’t even intend to use yet...
