Think you lot are in our "you need to be shot" group, our local rag has us, you, Leeds and one more as clubs having one pen all season, that said after "Gordon" Keogh a couple of years back you can balls ?

After all this time you still don’t know the football rules, very sad

The amount of penalties a team accrues during the season is typically in proportion with how many touches that team has in the opposition box. I read something yesterday that listed us as 20th in the entire league for touches in the opposition box, so it's not surprising that's roughly where we are in the division for penalties scored.

And that’s the damning and totally unsurprising stat that sums up the way we’ve played this season. Created so few clear cut chances

We would get more penalties if we had possession in the opponents area sometimes.

Usually some frickin idiot has tried a 35 yarder before then or the ball is in the sky ready to be headed.

Harry wilson has scored more than anyone else in the league from distance

Tine and again this season we're not getting them when we should. No one's mentioned Duane Holmes being kicked in the head by the Leeds keeper. It's said here we go down too theatrically. Nonsense! Lawrence didn't expect to be whacked hard in the top of his chest. And in the Millwall game Marriott controlled the ball brilliantly in the box in the first half taking it across the defender who impeded him, but Marriott tried to stay on his feet and get the shot away. The ref had to blow for the pen but did nothing because the player didn't go down. It's terrible to penalize players for trying to stay on their feet when if he'd dropped to the ground it was a stonewaller.

Bogle should have had a couple of pens too but they've been waved away. And the galling thing is our perfect record in shootouts this season, when previously we've not looked nearly so lethal.

Vydra seemed to earn an awful lot last season
