Van der MoodHoover
Peering at Mrs Hants waiting for the first sneeze or cough that heralds her annual Christmas heavy cold/tonsillitis, that will render her bedridden by Christmas Eve thus unable to join in the fun as a dozen of her bloody family turn up from 6 miles away for a 2 night stopover around Christmas Day......... ??? BathRam72
10th Dec for me. I love it as I consider that as the time to start celebrating Christmas. Mind you, I was asked what I wanted for my birthday and I siad I don't need the usual shirts for work, socks etc so surprise me. I don't know what my family think I am, but ended up with THE FOLLOWING. 1 x Gin (Rhubarb and ginger) 1 x Whisky 1 x Honey JD 1 x Brandy. 2 x Red wine. A tool box and a box of jelly babies. Christmas is sorted.

In the last 3 years we've had a Chase Vodka and Gin one, last year a wine one, and now a cheaper gin one from Morrison's. I don't think we'll bother next year, the novelty has worn off. In fact, I think their days are numbered.
