He captained his club to the title, and his nation to their first major international trophy, and won the Zamora Trophy. No one cares about anything beyond goals though. The whole thing is an unnecessary sham anyway. It's a team game. Incessantly obsessing over one or two individuals diminishes the achievements of their team mates.
