To refer to the original post....we weren't good 2nd half v Villa.

But Thorne, Wisdom and Butterfield being the answer?? Bonkers.

We have played amazing football in their absence, and we really didn't last weekend...so why are they the obvious answer ?

Mount being missing, Waghorn missing.. Wilson out of position, Bogle getting leggy, Bryson not playing, too much change at left back, Lawrence needing a head check again, Johnson back in; even playing Hudds and Johnson, or needing Nugent's older wiser head .... all more plausible areas for discussion than players who haven't been part of the brilliant play of recent weeks.

Isn't the highlighted a bit of a contradiction? ?‍♂️

This season I've been pretty resentful of the unwelcome interruptions brought about by the international breaks. Somewhat less so today but still really looking forward to getting back to league business now. On that note, does anyone know what the latest is on Waghorn, Bryso and Mount?

need Wilson up the pitch he’s too much of an attacking presence to be in midfield all game. Get Bogle a rest and see how Tomori does at RB as his passing and pace could fit the requirements. Get a solid base back and do the simple things right, move the ball quickly and don’t be scared to try a trick or run at someone. Clean sheet and a couple of goals will do nicely.

Food wise you are about 5 minutes walk from the Peace Gardens where there are chain eateries of all types, and some town centre type boozers. Smoke BBQ is good if you want a meat feast in the PG's.

My guess is the Four Lanes Fisheries on Leppings lane, and not the Hillsborough fish bar.

If you come via the tram from town and get off in Hillsborough then the Riverside fish n chippy is also good.
