I'd been giving you the benefit of the doubt, but now I see you're a wum.

Trot off back to LTLF, and leave us to enjoy sexy winning football while you enjoy(endure) wankey stat based football from the dark ages, with the mid placed at best finishing position your lot deserve.

Yes, I’ve learned that you’re a long time dead. You’re like a bloke who stays single because he might get his heart broken. It’s a sad way to live your life ?

We Were the perfect club at the right time for frank.

Everyone was ready for attractive football, and style was arguably more important than ultimate success. We also had an owner who was prepared to back his judgement to the max (within the limits of ffp).

Just go with the flow.

Football is supposed to be fun

It’s a hobby, a pastime

Call my cynical, or maybe I’ve just had my fingers burnt one too many times, but I’m not really getting quite so loved up by Lampard as much as everyone else seems to be.

Got absolutely no issue with the bloke at all, let me point out. I think he speaks eloquently and, from what I’ve heard, is an absolutely lovely fella. He’s got us playing some of the best football I’ve seen since McClaren and there’s a real feel good atmosphere around the club at the moment. He is the right man for us - 100%

But I remember feeling the same about Rowett. And McClaren. And once upon a time, about Clough. Things change very quickly in football and I think I’ll wait until the end of the season before I jump fully on the hype train.

Cynic! ?

Of course you're right and we all know it's the hope that kills you. But Frank deserves our affection by how he has transformed us from Rowett-ball into this, in such a short space of time.

I didn't think it was possible, but a miracle is happening. It's the Derby way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory (as you suggest), so enjoy it while you can and don't let it pass you by.

Just an observation - I am about two weeks behind on League of their own and just watched the John Terry one

Some asked who were the Chelsea boys up for a night out

Someone suggested "Frank Lampard" and JT was like "No way, Frank was a total pro"

Ha Ha - Still is I reckon

Hope he is here for 5 years or more

I recall a Fergie talking about Frank. Apart of the ability of a midfielder to score 200 or more career goals and have the most incredible fitness record it was his total professionalism that stood out. Ability and self discipline made him truely exceptional.

isnt this odd .. we are 6th .. pretty much par for us over the last few years but there is an aura about us that has been lit up by Frank. We all seem to have a sense that this is only the start -  we are more like a tethered race horse than something already at full speed.

I don’t know where this will go but it will be a helluva party if we make it and a tribute to a young manager of remarkable conviction.

i can’t think of a time when a manager has so united fans

Hilarious !!!!

lets support the team and enjoy it

but this love in is crazy

you are all putting ridiculous pressure on the players and team

Despite us having barely started the season

And having handfuls of teams with as good a shout as us

Stop it, for God’s sake !

just take it game by game

And maybe get excited next April

its astonishing how short some memories are

We are taking it game by game and each game seems to get better.

Do you sit at games and go “I’m not cheering until we’ve won the league”?

Get excited man and enjoy the ride.

This is brilliantly put in terms of why it is so exciting. Almost every game we can see improvement. Normally if improvement happens at all, it's incremental and imperceptible. Not this season so far, which is what suggests we have significantly greater heights to reach.

Frank is at the heart of it. it's highly unusuall to have someone in football so universally loved. All our new signings have come here because of him and his vision for how he wants the team to play. It's an ebulliant vision and you can tell the players are enjoying putting it into practice on the pitch, and seeing that it works.

Flip-flops more than @Curtains when mac2 was in charge. Had the balls to call the fans who were Rowett nay sayers just before the play off 2nd leg, and then posts about how embarrassing it was when we BEAT Ipswich this season. I will throw in couple of screen shots so I can get called a troll and a bully. Again.

Oh and @BobbyD hope you like my new avatar, chose it especially for you. ?

I am struggling to identify any negatives during FL's short tenure to date. He is proving to be a class act in both what his team delivers on the pitch and how he presents himself as our manager. The atmosphere around the club has been transformed and there can be few fans whose initial expectations will not have been exceeded.

In recent years there has been much discussion about the "Derby Way", if there is such a thing then I hope it is what we are seeing this season.
