Cant believe more hasn't been made of the chilwell ceballos incident.

Ceballos should get a very lengthy ban, clear cheating

That's the issue, the players take it seriously and put the effort in, get injured , and for what? The possibility  (outside) to win the Nations Cup. Who is going to remember that! Their clubs won't be impressed.

Inter Toto anyone!

Tell you what, let’s scrap all internationals except for Euros and World Cup Qualifiers..... ??‍♂️

Why is it an outside chance? If that's the players attitude then it's not worth half of them playing in the Premier League!

Winning the Nation's League guarantees qualification to Euro 2020 so worth taking seriously.

And I really couldn't care about club managers not being impressed. If they were that bothered about players fitness they wouldn't go on ridiculous pre season tours.

Last night we had Keogh potentially kicking lumps out of Wilson and Lawrence, or the other way round given how Lawrence tackles. What would you all be saying if the three of them picked up knocks and were out of the next league match.

Alternatively if they held back on each other then that's a subtle form of cheating, and a good reason that, like loan players not playing against their parent clubs, it should not be allowed.

Liverpool have 4 first teamers injured after this nonsense.

As far as qualification is concerned, Germany are looking as if they will be relegated from something to something even lower. Do you really believe they won't be at the Euros.

3 of those Liverpool players are African and not involved in the Nations cup. Keita, Salah and Mane have to play international football - it's a standard part of their work permit conditions.

Presumably that's some sort of insult.

Well my attitude in life means I survived to be oldish! Yours may not afford you that luxury

It is also the responsibility of the old to use their wisdom protect the young from the follies of youth!

The game was ok in parts but it is still a meaningless competition, the real stuff we stand no chance in until English players get to play for top Prem clubs regularly.

Every time a crunching tackle went in I winced on behalf of all those club managers who may have their season ruined by injuries caused in a meaningless international.

Out of the starting 11 for England there was only Winks that isn't getting a game every week for one of the top teams in the Premiership and I would say that is only because he has been injured and wouldn't be a starter for England anyway....

I have a cunning plan..

For those worried about our players getting injured in internationals i think lets hope we get relegated a couple of tiers..that should solve that problem.

We need a full squad who play at that level. A few yellow cards or injuries and we will be playing with second raters or kids.

How many of Germany’s second 11 are playing at the highest level? How many of Spain’s are...?

Mad many as England’s.

Maybe we should cancel training as well then?
