I have seen the future and I don't like it.

The England game last night was a nightmare vision of the future in so many ways.

No crowd: With more games televised or available on line there will be a decline in live attendance. The TV people will start adding sound tracks to "create" atmosphere to enhance the at home experience. Which in turn will reduce live audiences even more. The live experience will be like last night, terrible.

Robotic players over coached and injury shy will play out more and more scoreless games, so TV companies will want to spice things up with a penalty shootout every 10 minutes if there's not been a real goal. Draws will be banned

Internationals will be pointless, players will be able to delve so far back in their past they can basically choose any team they like to play for. Even the true Anglos will not get to play in the Prem so we will never get a good team unless we can persuade Messi his Great Great Great Grandma was seduced by a Sailor from Cornwall (So was probably French) so can he play for England please.
