I, of course, was 20 minutes early (it is a full 5 minutes from my home, so I only had to make allowances for the more common delays, i.e. possible flash floods, subsidence and meteorite strikes). I'd happily wait an extra ten, nay make it twenty minutes, as it would mean I've actually managed to get an appointment with a genuine doctor and not a nurse practitioner at my local surgery in the first place.
