Sheikh n Bake
When he's been selected in the starting 11, we have played 4 won 4. When he's either benched or not in the squad, we have played 3 lost 3. Whens he back?!
angieram
I thought we really missed him up front yesterday. He puts in the hard yards and tires the defence out.

RamNut
Frank explained that he was "managing the squad". I took that to mean he was saving nuge for Tuesday. no sweat.

angieram
Yes, the team on paper was more than good enough. I seem to remember lots of people praising it at 2 pm yesterday.

What do I know eh ? lots of reason it didn’t work. .. hard working and physical Rotherham, weak ref, we missed Bryson’s runs .. it’s not what he does with the ball but what he makes others do when we haven’t got it. I have never been Bryson’s biggest fan apart from his 100% effort (and a certain hat trick ) but I am beginning to see what his work off the ball does to disrupt other teams desired shape. Interesting side to his game. I really felt Hudds would join up our midfield but reading between the lines he didn’t have the influence a player of his calibration might normally be expected have in a game like that. ? Grimbeard
Saw the title of this thread and came on here in the expectation of being able to have a good old rant about heart, character, experience and other such desirable attributes. And it turns out that the O.P. agrees with me, pft. Where's the fun in that?

We played better with 10 men. The players should have got their attitudes right, rather than thinking that they were just gonna roll up to Rotherham and collect 3 points at a canter. rsmini
I think you will find that Nuge was quoted as being poorly on Saturday, that's why he wasn't in the squad. Hopefully he will be better for Tuesday
