Blackburn played us right. Solid defence and grew in stature. We really need someone who can break a team down.

Based on that performance I reckon Southgate's notes on Mount will summarise to the effect of "Technically gifted, but a little naive."

Second half a bit disappointing, Blackburn will be pleased with point. Fine margins though, Mounts free kick goes in as opposed to hitting the bar, might we have gone on to get two or three ? Happy with that first half though. ?

Sky Sports include blocked shots which tells a better story if you're going on stats alone.

Positives: Look a lot better without Lawrence in the team. If Bennett plays like that in the next couple of games he should be starting over Lawrence. Bogle had a great game and linked up well with Bennett. Johnson had a good first half as well.

Negatives: Lack a cutting edge - no point creating so much if we can't get anything on target. Nugent should have been taken off a lot sooner than he was.

Annoying second half after the performance in the first, top away performance from Blackburn in the end. 

Ended up a bit of a car crash with Marriott, Waghorn and Wilson looking all over the place. Pointless playing Marriott up top at the moment, couldn't have given the Blackburn centre backs an easier last 15.

Thought Nugent and Bryson covered a lot of ground, but Brendan Foster and Mo Farrah would have been as effective.

Good 1st half, mediocre 2nd half, no goal in 180 minutes against poor opposition. The subs were too late and made zero impact, tough game against Brentford now.

Some heroic defending by Blackburn. Amazed we didn’t score in that first half. Good performance, doing all the right things. Just couldn’t find a way through. It’s gonna happen a lot to us the season if we continue to be known for playing this style of football.
