Because we are masochists, and importantly enjoy what we do.

Guns kill, but people still want to join the Army.

People join the army mainly because

1. We think girls will be attracted to us because we’re in uniform and blokes will think we’re hard

2. We usually come from broken families and don’t have many brighter prospects

3. We fall for the ludicrous promotional videos that promise us we’ll see the world, although now days they are promoting that we can cry on each other and hug each other and go and pray in the middle of battle

that’s how they get ya!

Unsure if this has been said but I was listening and I got the impression he meant the signings have started coming because Morris came back this week.  Not that he is back so multiple signings are to come.

Sorry, joined the thread late and can’t be bothered to go through the whole thing, can someone summarise exactly what Redknapp was saying about the army and teaching on talksport please?

He said the army are “twiffic” then he nodded and twitched.

Did anyone listen to Talksport this morning?

Redknapp was asked if he has spoken to Lampard and he said yeh, that we've got some good signings lined up but waiting for Morris to get back off holiday to sign them off which is meant to be today.

Did anyone catch anything else that was said?

Sounds v interesting wish I’d heard  it

one thing

we were waiting around at the Mansfield game for my brother in law who had our tickets and my dad shouted out there’s mel ...

black Range Rover, shaking the hand of lots of derby fans

I didn’t turn around in time to see the guys face in the Vehicle so can’t verify but my dad seemed pretty adamant it was ... that said his eye sight ain’t all that

if it was he clearly wasn’t on his hols, is what I’m trying to say

not unless newstead abbey is his holiday destination of choice

Don’t get it, why would we need Mel to get of holiday? We’ve signed 3 players already this week

Pre agreed before he went away.
