Its like when you cheat on football manager. Add an extra manager to a big club to sign your unwanted players & then buy the superstars from the big clubs for Derby

Carson in talks with Man City over potential loan move - according to the Mirror. This window just gets whackier..

Scott Carson could go there, impress like Lee Grant at United, earn a big wage and be content he’s done well for himself.

We lose a likely decent wage and surely bring in someone else experienced.

Nothing but a win/win/win.

Not sure why people are surprised of this. He might no be the smoothest passer of the ball but he has the attribute which is way more important than that; nationality.

Not sure do we need a replacement, haven't seen enough of Ravas. Or can we even afford to have new one, we might need room for wages.

Bizarre...get rid of Joe Hart for his lack of distribution and bring in Scott Carson. Won't get a game that's for sure, maybe sees it as final pay day and good luck to him if so.

Top clubs love aging English keepers for their squad quota. Been so many over the past few years... Rob Green, Lee Grant are two more just in the past couple of years.

Don’t forget guys that UEFA requires a certain amount of English players in squads in the CL. They got rid of Fabian Delph and haven’t replaced him, (I actually think that Delph was brought in to meet the quota in the first place) and why good quality English players (e.g. Barkley & Drinkwater) went for far more than they were worth at the time.

Man City are probably in a panic because a someone they wanted in has fallen through (Maguire?) so now need to come up with a quick solution to be eligible for UEFA competitions. Can’t go wrong with an ex-international goalkeeper currently keeping the bench warm who wouldn’t mind swapping benches for more money.

I can’t think of a keeper further away than Edison’s style of play than Carson.

how bizarre ?‍♂️?

English quota for European games - not to mention they would want a good shot stopper for training because they shoot a hell of a lot
