Thanks to Bywater thinking he'd be alright, we're suddenly not alright and we have 0 senior goalies at this club for Saturday.

What was Bywater thinking? If he aint fit he aint fit. I would have prepared Deeney for tonights game and not scared the ***** out of the lad.

Who are we to loan in? Schmicheal from County?

I've just taken a look at the table, Derby need to beat Doncaster now or they will be really wrestling with the hideous, downward pulling, tentacles of disaster, ushering them to the dark pavillions of the dank and musty league one. Come on you Rams get away from this terrible place.

Have they got recall clause's ? didn't we get that young lad from Denmark or netherlands ? he was only 16 though i think ?

Atkins went on the 18th Feb for a months loan, no mention of a recall. Price I'm sure we had the option to recall him at the start of January, if we didn't he was there for the season. Although Brentford now have an Arsenal keeper there whos took his place, maybe Brentford would be willing to send him back.

I can see Cloughie franticly ringing around soem premiership clubs today asking if they have a keeper we can loan for a month, hopefully Bywaters back problem isn't that bad.

Derby County manager Nigel Clough is confident he will sign a goalkeeper on loan in time for Saturday's league match against Doncaster Rovers.

First-choice number one Stephen Bywater suffered a back injury in Wednesday's 4-1 defeat away at Reading and could miss the game at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Bywater's replacement Saul Deeney was sent off meaning evergreen midfielder Robbie Savage had to go in goal.

"We will have a loan keeper by Friday morning," Clough said.

"Seven-day loans are on goalkeepers are available at this stage of the season so we will look to do that.

"We were making calls at half-time and after the game to get the ball rolling."

Clough was also not completely discounting Bywater returning to play some part at the weekend.

"We hope Stephen responds well to treatment and will be on the bench on Saturday," Clough added.

Jay McEverely ? he was second choice behind Sav :D

Derby were on the phone as early as half time to try and get a prem keeper in - Price has no recall, James Severn may be on the bench if we don't find one in time, doesn't seem like he wants to recall Ross Atkins ? doesn't say he has no recall.
