David
And just like that you lose one of your top summer signings for 4 months without even starting a league game. They do look a little light in forward options, both up top and wide, Roofe, Alioski, Siaz and Harrison. Wouldn't take much to derail what they have going on right now. angieram
Sorry but I have shamelessly pinched this from Twitter because it's hilarious. Apologies if the tweeter also posts on here.
Carl Sagan
Jamie Ward is on loan at Charlton (who knew). Apparently, when he returned to the gumps after playing in the Euros, manager Philippe Montanier didn't even know who he was. When we released him, apparently for being past it and injury prone, they offered him a four-year deal. He says, rightly, that he'd have been stupid not to take it, but that he always looks out for our results. https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jamie-wards-hopes-derby-county-2028928

ThePrisoner
Lee Grant of Manchester United didn’t save a single penalty against his former club Derby County last night. Brilliant.

Brilliant. He did make a couple of cracking saves on his debut though. As long as it didn’t effect the final result, I say well done Granty. Who’d’ve think he’d get a final pay check at United. I was surprised enough when he got signed by stoke.

Dean (hick) Saunders
Chris Baird, still without a club. Surprising, thought he could do a good job for someone at bottom end champ.

BaaLocks
Not strictly ex-Ram as such but anyone else see this game? FA Youth Cup between Halesowen and Nuneaton Borough - Halesowen came from 7-2 down with thirty minutes to go to win 9-8. The reason I post here is that the scorer of the last two goals was a certain Emlyn Tudgay and given the unusualness of the surname I wondered if he was any relation. Anyway, for those wondering how it panned out 1 min: Nuneaton Borough 1-0 Halesowen Town (Corcoran) 4 mins: Nuneaton Borough 1-1 Halesowen Town (Danks) 7 mins: Nuneaton Borough 2-1 Halesowen Town (Jones) 22 mins: Nuneaton Borough 3-1 Halesowen Town (Wanjohi) 43 mins: Nuneaton Borough 4-1 Halesowen Town (Corcoran) HT: Nuneaton Borough 4-1 Halesowen Town 49 mins: Nuneaton Borough 5-1 Halesowen Town (Jones) 51 mins: Nuneaton Borough 5-2 Halesowen Town (Love) 52 mins: Nuneaton Borough 6-2 Halesowen Town (Corcoran) 57 mins: Nuneaton Borough 7-2 Halesowen Town (Corcoran) 62 mins: Nuneaton Borough 7-3 Halesowen Town (Danks) 70 mins: Nuneaton Borough 7-4 Halesowen Town (Griffiths) 70 mins: Nuneaton Borough 7-5 Halesowen Town (Mutasa) 80 mins: Nuneaton Borough 7-6 Halesowen Town (Danks) 83 mins: Nuneaton Borough 8-6 Halesowen Town (Corcoran) 86 mins: Nuneaton Borough 8-7 Halesowen Town (Beard) 92 mins: Nuneaton Borough 8-8 Halesowen Town (Tudgay) 96 mins: Nuneaton Borough 8-9 Halesowen Town (Tudgay)

Was sat next to a Tudgay. I remarked that it was an unusual name and the only time I'd seen it before was Marcus Tudgay the footballer. "Yeah, he's my brother" was the response. Decent conversation starter ?
