Joint bids are the way to go. England should definitely do one with UK + ROI.

It was stupid having just England, Germany, Spain, France and Italy hosting single WCs. Means for the younger generation it may take years to get another one.

Europe is so small joint bids makes sense, and means three or four countries at once could be selected.

They should have had a Spain, Portugal joint bid. France, Belgium and Holland. Germany, Poland and Czech. Italy, Switzerland and Austria.

Makes much more sense and includes more countries.

Excellent news..!! And Tampa is even on he shortlist for being a host city..

internal flights are really cheap and very frequent so getting around the place will be easy and it is going to massively boost tr popularity of it over here again.

tbf the USA did a great job with the 1994 WC which I think is still up there as the best attended of all

Thing is if we did it would still mostly be in England,  not many stadiums in the other 4 that could be used. England could host it tomorrow.

Yeah, would be similar to the US.

Depends on how many stadiums they use, but they could definitely use Celtic Park, Ibrox, Hampden, Millennium Stadium, The Aviva and a redeveloped Windsor.

Then 10 from the England like Old Trafford, Etihad, Anfield, St James’ Park, Elland Road, Villa Park, Olympic Stadium, New White Hart Lane, Emirates and Wembley.

The UK would need minimal work. A few redevelopments maybe or better transport, but it wouldn’t be difficult to do.
