Maybe we’re signing more players to let the likes of Blackman know that they are definitely, definitely, definitely not getting a game here and should look elsewhere if they didn’t get the message already? Maybe Thomas and Bennett are to be loaned out again? Or maybe one of the above, including Holmes, has a future playing centrally? None of it sounds plausible. Millenniumram Posted August 8, 2018 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Surely this can’t be true at all. For one, we simply don’t need more widemen, unless Lawrence or someone is off. Secondly, he doesn’t exactly set the pulses racing looking at his past, struggled to make it at Huddersfield, decent year last time out but hardly that spectacular and that was in league one! Leave someone like him to Rotherham imo, much more their level, no offence. Given my recent record on transfer threads, we’ll sign him before I wake up tomorrow after these comments.
