Fought out a 0-0 against wolves last night with pretty much the entire 1st team squad.

No sign of any kids in the team.  Ince played on the right for 1st half.

Quick, tell Stoke that they’ve got an impostor in the dugout. Gary loves to bring the youth through.

Did they cross the half-way line?

So the bar is set. The score to beat is 0-0.

alas, I haven't found any match statistics but the following quotes from the respective club websites give some hints.

The Wolves view......

It was stalemate between Wolves and Stoke City as Nuno Espirito Santo’s were held despite creating the greater chances at the Bet365 Stadium.

With the season creeping closer, Wolves were given a firm test against a side relegated from the Premier League just two months ago, but in truth it was a fairly uneventful state of affairs at Stoke on Wednesday evening.

Whereas in Stoke.....

GARY ROWETT continued to fine-tune his side’ preparations for the new campaign on Wednesday evening as the Potters played out a goalless draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the bet365 Stadium.

With the 2018/19 curtain-raiser just eleven days away, the City boss gave his clearest indication yet as to what his starting line-up against Leeds United could look like as he named a strong side for the fixture with last season’s Championship winners.

So there we go...........Snakey fine-tuning his team into a bunch of bore draw specialists with an average age of 97 ?

I think in the first half there were positives but not enough if I’m being honest.

It’s easy for me with a week to go to start criticising the performance. This is about preparation, getting ourselves ready for next weekend. At the moment we’ve got a lot of work to do, an awful lot of work and that’s what it is.

I was disappointed and I told the players I was disappointed – and if this was next week I would be really disappointed.

It gives us a little bit of a kick up the backside about what we need to do – and we’ve got a lot to do

Anyway.... nice to see Snake City’s final prep match for the championship favourites end with a 2-0 defeat!

Rumour has it they got very close to scoring on one counter,

Sure to be difficult to beat as the season progresses zzzzzz

to see some of the players he is giving game time to it's just depressing .

We don't score
We can't defend.

My patience will quickly run our with Rowett if he persists with Fletcher, Diouf and Adam when he's 38m down the line.

We were organised but almost entirely toothless.

McClean looked positive and quick. Afobe didn’t look fit but did well with this back to goal. Ince looked short on confidence and didn’t seem to want to take his man on. Our midfield first half was garbage save for Badou.

The general consensus seems to be that they need a huge rebuild and aren't making enough progress with transfers.

The general concencus on here was the same if I remember correctly, I even read we wouldn’t see the true Rowett side until 2020 when many contracts expired.

F & J have been here a month (roughly) using mainly players already on the books so it begs the question (to me) how come Rowett needed all this time to mould his own squad when two rookies can come in and get a squad left to them playing a far better brand of football in such a short space of time ?

I wonder if the Stoke faithful will be as patient with Rowett as the majority here were ? Or will they be as quick as a minority on here that saw through his guff and show their displeasure at his vision of how the game should be played ?

I still can’t forgive him for how he set us up at Craven Cottage but maybe I should because if we’d won it he might still be here now.

As we all learned last season, Rowett can sell ice to eskimos and he talks very well.

Unfortunately he doesn’t have the attributes to back that up and very often does the exact opposite of what he says he’s going to do.

Stoke fans will learn this in time no doubt

Just been on there forum, according to one of their posters, any of their fans that don't think they are getting back into the prem they are fake.

Whilst he is also saying that they are going to get 107 points this season. Calling it "Project Stoke 107"
