Who else think vermen

I think that if Morris rates them then all the ones you've mentioned should at least get a chance, starting in the preseason friendlies. I'd definitely like to see Elsnik, and Gordon tried. Not seen enough of Vernam and Guy. Plus get Zanzala on! ?

Yes got to be better than Vydra right

lets be honest given the chance FL and JM could bring in some youth from chelsea or a big european club who would be better than 99% of our u23's. Only Elsnik and Thomas stand out for me. I think we should give young lads go but if there not good enough in morris's eyes then they need to be moved on.

I know everyone wants our young players to come through but are they good enough...I would say only Thomas and maybe Elsnik are maybe good enough ....all the players that went on loan didn’t exactly hold down a regular place ...so if Lowe Gordon etc can’t get a start with Shrewsbury and Swindon how are they good enough to start for us...our recruitment in my view leaves a lot to be desired ...I actually don’t see many of our young players as being good enough ....

Mel or Jody? Confused already! ?

From what I’ve seen of the u23s I’m not convinced there’s that many I’d have that much confidence stepping up, but equally there are some good prospects. Thomas is the obvious one, there’s definite skill there, whether he turns into mason Bennett or Demerari gray remains to be seen, but he’s as ready as he’ll ever be so why not give him a shot. Elsnik is the other one imo, he’s got a clear footballing brain and is very composed, his successful loan last year makes me have the most confidence in him being a success in stepping up out of all the youngsters.

Theres a lot more risk involved in the others imo, it’s hard to see whthere they’re ready/ have the quality. Bogle looks a good prospect so he’d be next on my list to get involved as cover for wisdom. Guy I’ve always rated but his development hasn’t excactly been rapid so I’m not sure he’ll make it if I’m honest. Zanzala likewise. Vernam has a chance now but again he needs to step up quickly. Think the next generation coming through will have more success eventually, max bird for example is the best prospect in the academy imo, has everything a good midfielder has but I can’t help but feel he’s not ready physically just yet. There’s others as well in that group like cresswell and Whittaker who have promise, but we should wait for them without a doubt.

A couple to step up this year imo. We don’t have the quality to rely on a massive influx of them to change our team, but a couple from the academy as well as loans/ purchases from elsewhere is the way to go this year.
