Paper talk or not this reflects typical Derby fan response. All that positivity and he's being 'doubted' because of rumours that Terry might come. Ridiculous. He wants to be a success to he'll ring people in to enable success. He's far more qualified, knowledgeable and experienced in every facet of football than any of us will ever be so.... Why not just sit back and wait and see what happens by the end of this window. Or the Jan window.

JT’s one of the best centre halves this country’s produced in his generation.

Clearly he’s past it for the top flight, but he wasn’t exactly found wanting at Villa.

If Frank wants him here to play, great. If he wants him here to coach, great. If both, great.

Lampard, Morris Minor, JT - fine by me.

Twitter response is hilarious.

Nasty person, milk the club, horrible man...

Get a fookin grip. None of you know him personally, look at the poo Chris Martin got up to at Norwich ffs and yet the vast majority still bank him off in 2018.

One of the best defenders outside the Prem thats a fact.

Baring in mind Lampard is on £2m a year reportedly. If John coaches and plays for £30k a week, is that that bad of a deal?

Only concern is that I don’t want him to take away from Frank’s voice

Would be a great signing if it happens, team of the year and a leader. If we can keep hold of Davies too we will have a great couple of cb’s. If frank signs him it doesn’t mean he’s gone back on saying he’s going to promote youth, who’s to say that Terry won’t be the only player over 30 he signs?
