RiddingsRam
Sounds daft but is anyone else quite excited about the prospect of the expectations being lowered. Maybe discovering an unsung gem , maybe moving a load of older over paid ex premier league players on. Shopping for bargains and free transfers without the massive wages and fees being linked. DcfcJack
Would much prefer being underdogs next season, very little expectation from the media would be great, give us time to rebuild and go unnoticed while clubs like Middlesborough and Stoke attract the headlines. SuperDerbySuperRams
Only problem of succeeding is that it’s very difficult to lower the expectations of the fans. Regardless of what the club come out with over the summer, expectations will still be high
TheHomunculusLives
To be honest, with the right managerial appointment we should still be in the mix for the top 6 next season with the squad we have - especially if Vydra stays. However, if we were to lose him and his goals, plus one or two other key performers (Carson, Davies) then we'd become a mediocre mid-table side very quickly. Grantona
Nigel Clough 2012/13 season was good - a healthy 10th place on a very limited budget.
timmo
Rowett played every game like we were underdogs so shouldn't be too much difference
