Shackell has got to be up there as one of our worst value for money signings of the Mel years.

Mostly crocked, or crap and unshiftable on a fat wedge. And Dyche hardly missed him

Either this club is a favourite amongst player's agents to namedrop or we've been going in for the same transfer targets again and again and again for the last five years.

Have we just started properly cleaning out the desks of former employees?

Have you seen him recently?

Unshiftable indeed. Its not just his wage that's sizable, put it that way...

We signed him for 1 million originally and then sold him for 900k.

We then signed him again for 2 million, paying him a large wage.

Only derby.

He is really raw and still work in progress. He has benefited from having Christophe Berra beside him to talk him through games and Leveins defensive setup.

He would be one for the U23s, he is not ready for the rough and tumble of the championship.

The Scottish Nuwtfly’s rate him as one of the best young centre-half’s in the division and want him to sign for their club (Rangers).

It’s a game of opinions!

If he has learned from Berra, it's better to we avoid this signing. Too much to unlearn.

True. He's been highly regarded as a prospect since his DUFC days.

I dont think he's high enough profile for Rangers......Surely since its season ticket renewal time they will be linked with Stones and Hummels.......After all, Gerrard looks to be favourite for the job.......The Ibrox propaganda machine in full working order ?

Only derby.

We signed him for £750,000 with an additional payment of £250,000 after 50 appearances.

We sold him on 49 games for £1,100,000 in one lump sum.
