BlueDredd
Hi all, Will be driving up to Derby early this afternoon but never been to Pride Park by car before, so could anyone recommend somewhere to park that's relatively close to the ground? Any advice massively appreciated.

Any advice massively appreciated. If you don't mind paying there's loads of parking close to the ground , a storage place just across from the ground that charges £6 . Failing that if you want a walk a pay a bit less and get a decent pint ( providing your not in coulours) there's plenty of parking near the train station too, and pubs there aswell including the Brunswick , Alexandra hotel and the waterfall . If you want an away only pub it's usually the Tiffany lounge or the navagation.
metalsheep02
If you come down the A52 you will reach the pentagon island, first left and then left at T junction takes you into an industrial estate about 10 minutes walk from the ground. Several car parks on there around £5 but you can also park for free on roads after 6pm.
RadioactiveWaste
You'll struggle for nearby to be honest. There's some car parks in town, the cockpit or liversage st from which it's a twenty minute walk. Most of the car parks near the ground need permits or fill up very early. Best nearby used to be the fireplace but I don't know if that's open still. Alotof regulars park in Chaddesden and walk over the bridge over the a52. Hope you enjoy your trip, get well beaten on the pitch, enjoy a drink and some fun banter off it.

Looks like the fireplace place went bust. The car park has been fenced off with no cars in it the last few matches.

Aren't they supposed to be knocking it down as part of the road 'improvements'? - though I seem to remember reading that some folk wanted it saving because they reckoned it was architecturally important

Steve How Hard?
I'd avoid the goalmouth. Rowett will be parking our bus there as per.

Sorry don’t know the address but quick google should sort it
BlueDredd
Hahaha. Cheers for the advice gents. I just had a look at the County website. Would the Derby Conference Centre just off the A6 be a good or bad option?

Sorry, not a dig at you, just a small thing that annoys us. Same as calling notts forest notts forest annoys them.
TomBustler1884
Can't believe notts forest fans get upset about being called notts forest fans. I mean surely notts forest is accurate, it's in the county of notts is notts forest. Notts forest.
LesterRam
I would go down the A52 (avoiding the snow machine) turn left at the Wyvern retail park (avoiding more snow machines) and park at the Toysrus store because it's closing (avoiding another 5-6 snow machines) and you will see the magnificent sight of Pride Park, walk towards this (avoid the other 15-20 snow machines) and keep an ear on the local radio about 7-00pm because we might have a cancellation
