Might bring Dier on for the last few minutes of the final if things look a bit dicey. That side wouldn't score 5 goals against a good side. It wouldn't even get more than 30% possession. Maybe sack Alli off as well if he's not recovered form or insists on having Dele on his shirt. I was being serious.
ViewsFromTheMiddle
Personally wouldn't dream of taking Henderson. Gareth obviously will though.

ViewsFromTheMiddle
Looks like everyone (myself included) is going to be very disappointed when Jake Livermore steps on that plane.
Andicis
I just want an exciting England squad. Sod the ''safe squad players'' if we're going, go to excite the country and make people like the national team again.
Kernow
Forgot about Shelvey. I'd have him for Loftus-Cheek at the moment.
jagerbob
Shame it seems to have come too soon for the likes of Sessignon at Fulham and Sancho at Dortmund. Id definately take Shelvey for his range of passing and ability to get stuck in. Would probably take a Glenn Murray / Andy Caroll, / Peter Crouch type too, purely for when we are one down foe the lat 10 and pumping balls into the opposition box trying to get a last gasp equaliser. But the snobs in the england hierarchy wont do that will they?

Parsnip
I was just thinking how Wilfred Zaha might be a good creative winger to consider for the England squad with his current form. But apparently he plays for Ivory Coast?! How did that happen?

Shelvey, Wilshere, Loftus-Cheek and Lallana surely. Harry winks is a dark horse to go. He’s got the experience having played in the champions league this season

Ambitious
GK: Pickford, Butland, Pope CB: Maguire, Stones, Smalling, Lascelles, Tarkowski, Rose, Alex-Arnold, Walker MID: Sessegnon, Delph, Milner, Shelvey, Dier, Henderson, Alli, Sterling, Rashford, Lingard, ST: Kane, Vardy Starting XI for game 1: Pickford Maguire Stones Lascelles Walker Dier Rose Sterling Alli Rashford Kane If needs be, certainly for the harder games, it would be worthwhile slotting Henderson/Milner/Shelvey next to Dier and dropping Alli out of the team.
