David
Did you know we are now the only top 6 side to pick up more points on the road than at home this season? Wolves - Home 45 Away 40 Cardiff - Home 48, Away 32 Fulham - Home 37, Away 35 Villa - Home 39, Away 31 Derby - Home 32, Away 33 Boro - Home 36, Away 27 Even the chasing pack Bristol City - Home 35, Away 27 Millwall - Home 37, Away 25 Sheffield United - Home 37, Away
Paese
Away membership better value than a season ticket then? Might reconsider that season ticket next year.
Rev
Is it because the God awful football we play is more productive in away performances, or because as a home support we're not very good?

Shuff264
I'd call one point different fairly meaningless, especially when we've played 1 more game away! Home - 1.68 ppg Away - 1.65 ppg

David
Both Villa and Fulham are 2-0 up at home tonight, update to this would be: Wolves - Home 45 Away 40 Cardiff - Home 48, Away 32 Fulham - Home 40, Away 35 Villa - Home 42, Away 31 Derby - Home 32, Away 33 Boro - Home 36, Away 27 Even the chasing pack Bristol City - Home 35, Away 27 Millwall - Home 37, Away 25 Sheffield United - Home 37, Away

RadioactiveWaste
Simple explanation would be Rowett-ball works better when teams come at us, which except for the good ones (who are good), happens less at home. Alternatively, the boomaggedon that greets the first misplaced pass corrodes the teams belief. Alternatively, blame Keogh (and fozzy)

But as you say, the worst team at home from all promotion candidates and the only side which one game either way can swing it either way. After tonight the Home to away difference between points will be Wolves +6 Cardiff +16 Fulham +14 Villa +14 Derby -1 Boro +9 Bristol City +8 Millwall +12 Sheff Utd +
Doodle
Let’s look on the bright side. If we make the play offs, we have 1 home game and 2 away. So being the least reliant on home form for our points. We must be favourites to go up

How would the fans have reacted to to the first half at Preston, with 30-odd % possession and zero attempts on goal, if we had been at home? plymouthram
Home and away stats don't mean too much because when we get to Wembley in May, its a neutral venue.

Earning 0.03ppg more at home, compared to someone like Cardiff who earned 0.72ppg more at home. I'd say that 0.03ppg different is pretty negligible and it'd be fair to say we perform about as well at home as we do away. I'll try to update these for tonights games, if I remember tomorrow! Van der MoodHoover
Is it as simple as our system is far less effective at home where away teams will themselves sit deeper to deny us our speedy counterattacks?
