After today's results, back in our own hands.

Win all our remaining games and we're up.

(havent had me first pint yet, honest)

Mixed feelings about villa losing... Fulham a threat now too.

How much have we spent assembling our squad over the past 3 years though?

Plenty of people crying about how much other teams are spending but like Red_Dawn pointed out earlier in this thread it seems we're soon forgetting how we've tried to bankroll the division. We'd be top out "our" league if we hadn't spent 50+ million too.

Yes we did (albeit not to the same level as Villa and Wolves). Problem is we did it very badly, actually made the team worse and we’re paying the price now. We’re hamstrung by average signed in 15/16 players on big wages and long contracts who we can’t get rid of, and consequently we can’t go out and spend big bucks to strengthen and chase the premier when we’re in the best position we’ve been in for a couple of years.

As for the red dog, he should focus on his team and their potential successive relegation battle!! Difference with us, we knew where the line was with FFP and respected it, they didn’t and it cost them.

Villa had parachute payments, have Wolves spent more this season than we did in the Clement one? Doesn't look like it. Just because we wasted the millions doesn't mean we still didn't try and do what they are doing now. I don't get the excuse making tbh.

Totally agreed on Forest, they were ran pathetically leading up to their embargo. He has a point about the subject in matter though.
