Johnny Russell - Will he sign a new contract?

We Shouldn't get ahead of ourselves.

Its very tight at the top. We've had a few important games where the goals have dried up a bit. Unfortunately the 6 points dropped have really prevented us from securing second place.

Sign him up. Just don't go mad with the length of the contract.

Our lack of consistent creativity at home is potentially going to cost us. Need to regain that happy knack of finding a goal just when we need one and seeing out the 1-0.

It's quite disappointing that he wants to go tbh. But as Gary said in the PC this is the point of a contract and you're not forced to sign a new one.

He is within his rights to do so and honoured his contract, scored some good goals, made 170+ appearances for us.

I guess it's more of a personal decision and he wants to try something new. Can't imagine he'd get a better contract than Derby would give him over there.

Good luck Johnny.
