Depends how long you are going to be. If it is not long you can park on The Strand pay and display on the street, or you have a small car park on St James Street on the left through the archway. If you are going to be a while you have Bold Lane as @Boycie says or you have Assembly Rooms carpark.

If you can get it done in under 2 hours and don't mind a short walk, park on the street at St. Marys. It's free.
King Kevin
If you take care of your car and are careful where you park it there is only one place Bold Lane .If on the other hand you don't give a toss as others have said above.

ossieram
Park on the car park on the corner of Agard st and Ford st and walk down past the Joseph Wright college, cost about £2.50 for the day.
uttoxram75
If it’s a quick in and out of the Intu then the back of the Royal Telegraph pub is half the price of the Intu multi storey and quicker to get in and out.
Gritstone Ram
If you can walk well then then I would find some free on street parking. I wouldn't pay to park my car.
