vicky-27
Don't panic - they mean his injury Mick Jones has today confirmed that Claude Davis' injury is a lot better than anticipated. The defender was stretchered off the field of play on Saturday after falling heavily from an aerial challenge, and after the game it was revealed he had been taken to hospital for a scan. "He is a lot better than anticipated." Mick told www.cpfc.co.uk. "Obviously he took a nasty knock and when you hit the deck like he did there is a lot of weight that goes down on the shoulder and neck . "He suffered an injury a bit like whiplash, and today he is going to see a specialist with Nigel Cox in London, so we should have a further update later today." Another club in trouble and could go into admin - how many more will there be ? Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has no plans to quit the cash-strapped Championship club. The experienced boss has battled against the tide all season, coping with two transfer embargoes and players being paid late. However, despite all the negativity surrounding the Selhurst Park outfit, Warnock is staying positive and has no plans to turn his back on the club. "I've had easier challenges, I think. We've got to be positive, and that's what we're doing," explained Warnock. "I am still enjoying it. If you don't enjoy it, in our circumstances it would be easy to get on my tractor but me and the chairman have got a challenge. "We are both fighters, we've both got our critics but we will both stick together and try and get out of the hole we are in."
