richinspain
Wouldn't say he is/was unsung, certainly not in these parts. I definitely do, and I'm sure many more do too, always think of Clough AND Taylor. They were and always will be for me a pair. Clough without Taylor was like coffee without milk, it works but just not as well.

ilkleyram
I touched that trophy. Sam Longson was bringing it into the ground, casually carrying it in one hand with no security around or anything and me and the lad I used to go with spotted him with it just before he disappeared into the ground

Dethorn
I am obviously inextricably linked to this club - always knew Sir Brain died on my birthday - did not know PT died on my anniversary.
ilkleyram
Incidentally, why does the lower tier of the Normanton end look empty in the photograph? I don't remember that.

europia
Taylor and Clough did more for DCFC and the city of Derby than anyone I am know of. The club lost these great football men through bad decision making of the owner / chairman. Nothing much has changed on that front....

The Rams were already in Majorca when Wolves prevented the Dirties (I think) from winning the title. The presentation of the Trophy was on the Sunday morning either 4 or 11 days later.
