What results and overall points haul do we expect from the next 10 beauties?

We have:

Cardiff - away

Forest - home

Sheff Weds - home

Norwich - away

Leeds - away

Reading- home

Fulham- away

Qpr - home

Middlesbrough - away

Ipswich- home

My crazy prediction sees us getting 17 points with us beating Cardiff, Forest, Wednesday, QPR and Ipswich. And a point against reading and Fulham.

Draw at Cardiff (more crying for Rowett to be replaced) destruction of Florist (glory to the player who rips them a new one ... prob Lawrence) followed by a massive unbeaten run which sees us comfy into the playoff spots before Transfer Window 2 ... if Rowett is as good as he believes he is, that will be what transpires.

Keep the faith !

Derby 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Norwich 2-0 Derby

Leeds 1-1 Derby

Derby 2-1 Reading

Fulham 1-0 Derby

Derby 0-0 QPR

Boro 2-0 Derby

Derby 2-0 Ipswich

12 points from a possible 30.

That run of games is going to be the true test of what Rowett is made. On form so far this season I can only see us getting about 9-12 points maximum.

Starting by beating Cardiff on Saturday isn't as crazy as one might think.

Don't think we need any reminding that this is the Championship and strange things are fairly common so shouldn't be seen as being that strange at all.

Some fans would make you believe we won't ever win again. Hull were supposed to batter us, read that on the internet.

Wouldn't be putting money on us winning, but with the odds stacked in their favour it's worth sticking a pound on.

I think we will probably able to scrape a point against forest, qpr, reading and maybe Fulham and shef wed as well. Dont think we will get anything from Boro, cardiff, ipswich, leeds or norwich.

I would expect 5 points max with 3 being more likely (if we play the same as last night).

Ipswich at home has to be one of the most frustrating fixtures in recent years. The amount of times they seem to fluke a 1-0 win playing awful football. Hopefully it'll be our turn to do it to them! Leeds away we can forget that one & Norwich away, don't get bugger all there!  And 'Boro!

The only team I'm fairly confident about us getting three points against is QPR. And even then I'm only just leaning over 50% confident on that one. I think it could be a very long couple of months.

with you on this

what could realistically change my mind?

  • return of Thorn who scores or creates a goal each game

then I'm struggling with hope

  • CM returns to the starting line up and rediscovers his scoring boots (50% hope)
  • the team get the concept of how to close a game down or a 'sally gunnell' in golfing parlance. (30% hope)
  • ermm........everybody  else plays crap (Bob Hope)
