cannable
Could they even afford a decent enough percentage of his wages to make it worth it?
Papahet
I'd imagine the Irvine fee would cover his wages, be a good signing for them and for Bryson - he needs a move IMO
therealhantsram
Morris at the fans forum said 'within a fee week's of the playoff final, we handed out our first 20k per week contract.' By my reckoning that would be Bryson, having just fended off the Burnley advances.
DcFc Dyycheee
Don't get rid until a replacement is signed. Rather we give Butterfield away before Bryson as well.
DontTrustTheDevilInside
This was apparently also lined up in Jan if Irvine had happened, according to someone who is a big Burton fan
Shuff264
Wouldn't be objected to this, we are burdened with average centre mids and need to move at least one out to be replaced with quality

Wouldn't have thought so, would seem an odd move on our behalf to loan him out..

ViewsFromTheMiddle
Think we should only accept this if we're bringing someone in.
DCFC1388
500k loan fee us 50% wages covered would pretty much cover his wages for the year

Ninos
Did I dream this would happen, and he would go on to captain Burton and lead them up the table bagging Championship player of the season? Sounds about right.
David
You have a manager that wants to reduce the squad, a player that probably isn't happy with coming off the bench here and there, a manager down the road that knows him well who can offer him first team Championship football, no relocation required. Makes sense, a lot of sense. As for not letting him go without replacing, you will never reduce the numbers if you continue to replace any outgoings or be able to bring any U23's through. King Kevin
What a hole we have dug for ourselves ,Bryson is past his peak but could do with a run of games to get back to something resembling his past form . We now find ourselves in a position where the said player might go out on loan and be better than any of the players we have bought over the past few years . How the hell have we managed to regress this far ,tragic.

True but don't think the centre midfield is an area we are that blessed with already, never mind if one of them is to depart.
