Wouldn't book your train tickets just yet.

How dare you? There is the East Dene Working Mens Club at Barnsley.

Cracking pre match pub.

Not really, just shows how many fair-weather 'fans' we have. I remember all the stories of people 'outraged' that they didn't get a ticket because they'd been listening to them on Radio Derby since the year dot and once visited the ground as a birthday treat!

If we get to Wembley at the end of this season, they'll all be there again.

If there's one thing that annoys me most in football, it's when people who haven't been to a game in about ten years make out like they know everything about Derby. Of course, you don't expect everyone to have the time/money/etc to go to every game, but it does get on my nerves when people suddenly start showing an interest because it's a Premier League club at a half-empty Wembley.

The annoying thing is, despite going to both Grimsby games, I feel obliged to go to Barnsley now purely so I can prove that I'm not jumping on the bandwagon, even though money is a bit tight at the moment.

To be honest, I'm not sure I'd rather go to an empty corporate stadium with a load of fair weather fans against Spurs reserves, than a traditional football ground with people that you know are there to support Derby County against what will probably be a strong Barnsley side. I think this picture sums it up:
