Some of them seem a tad bitter towards us. Not sure why, they seemed delighted back in the summer when they lured Rowett to be their manager. Not our fault it all turned sour. We did warn them what he was like. They oat to have listened.

They may have seen the 91 page and growing topic on here laughing at their club, wouldn’t be surprised if they took a few shots back.

Rowett’s gone now as well but...

I couldn't understand the noise regarding Rowetts departure. Not considering Mel's record with managers. Not exactly a secure job managing DCFC and after all Coates made a significant contribution to the kittty...£2million someone suggested. Not sure if that was correct?

Lampard has integrated Jayden Bogle & Mason Bennett this season from their academy. MAX Lowe & Luke Thomas out on loan.

After Southampton he puts 17 year-old centre back Lee Buchanan from Mansfield, 18 year-old base midfielder Max Bird from Burton who has already started a game this season and 16 year old attacker Tyree Wilson from Notts on the bench.

They building a successful identity over there and I am hating it.

Couple of experts on here were bemoaning the fact that it was Forest that were building an identity and had a defined structure in place that would take us years to replicate. Pretty funny reflecting on that perceived wisdom now.

That system seems to have been drowned by a short-termist desire for a quick-buck promotion.

It's amazing how similar our clubs are, at times.

In: Carvalho, Grabban, Soundani,  Figueiredo, etc

Out: Worrall, Breteton, etc

Think that shows how they view the academy at the moment.

They have built an identity. Just not one I’d want to be associated with.

“Derby weren't even in second gear today and they beat us, I think that shows how good you need to be to be a playoff contender.”

“Irvine should have been man to man with Huddlestone all game. He dominated the game for them as he was allowed to pass the ball around all afternoon. Tactically poor decision. Huddlestone ran the show for Derby and he was allowed to do so for the entire game.”

”I thought Derby looked decent but nothing special”

“It sounded a bit of an anti-climax, didn't really lay a glove on Derby and Tom Huddlestone ran the show. It could have been different of cause if Turbo hadn't missed what sounded like an easy chance, but other than that we were 2nd best.”

Not an afternoon to remember for Hull City, as Derby County beat the Tigers for the third time this season - and it was an ex-Tiger in striker Martyn Waghorn that did the damage - as Nigel Adkins' march up the Championship table with his squad came to an abrupt halt.

City started well, Grosicki struck an upright after Campbell fed in, but the fact remained, the Polish international should really have given the Tigers the lead. Both teams were cancelling each other out, but Derby were becoming more assertive as the half wore on. Then, with a huge suspicion of off-side, Waghorn netted a 41st minute for the Rams - at the second attempt - to break the deadlock and give the hosts a half time lead.

The Tigers worked their way back into the match and almost levelled on the hour mark. Grosicki crossed, but Irvine's glancing header was just wide of the post. The Rams punished City for the profligacy when Waghorn swept in on 71 minutes to double Derby's lead. Irvine then missed a simple volley from close range late in the game - and with that, the game was up for the visitors, who struggled to match their recent winning performances.

I think that sums us up. We can only beat teams if we don’t have to get out of second gear.
