I'd rather see us spend a little bit more on someone like Lawrence/Jota than potentially ''settle'' for Che Adams. No doubt he's still a talented player but Rowett knows him better than most managers and if he wasn't high on Rowett's list, surely he believes there are better targets? Birmingham are pretty light and the players that struggle to get into our squad might have an easier time getting first team football over there. Blackman plus £1-2 million might do the trick?
