McCormack had mental health issues then? Didn't know that.

And the same user got called out on the horrible comment he/she made about Caulker. Caulker has a genuine excuse and I sympathise with him but by the sounds of it, McCormack just sounds like a stereotypical football with his poor attitude.

I just hope that you don't have to go through mental health issues, I have and mine was only a mild form and believe me it wasn't very nice.

It's bloody awful! People just don't realise how bad it is! Just look depression is the biggest killer in men under 40!

I heard that too.  It did make me wonder whether we are being held back in our transfer dealings due to FFP regulations and the lack of completed outgoing transfers that were planned perhaps.  Either that or it's a smokescreen to cover up how much we actually still have available to spend.

We could have the biggest war chest in the division. I still wouldn't want to spunk one penny piece on Ross Mc F****** Cormack!!!!

I'm not going to get angry at RamNut because many users already had a go at them for their comment they made last time, I put it down to ignorance. A lot of pressures on footballers with how commercialised it is. I might be wrong because there hasn't been any evidence to the contrary but many fans from McCormack's previous clubs say he's got a very poor attitude.

Seem to remember reading he had to have surgery to remove cysts from his mouth which was the main reason for his lack of appearances for Forest.

Don't get angry McLovin let him think he's clever for his comment when all it really shows is a clear lack of intelligence and dignity.

Regards to McCormack I think people forgot how at Leeds , Cardiff and Fulham he tore this league to shreds. Even played well at the start of last season at Villa under Di Matteo. If the deals right for the club he could be that bit of quality we need to replace Ince.

There's been a fair bit of talk that Villa were going to pay up his contract and release him. Fine. Let them do that and offer him a pay as you play deal to get his career back on track. But don't enter a bidding war for someone we don't need (we have loads and loads of cover in the forward area - the squad is still 3 or 4 players too big) who's demonstrably got issues and add more bodies to our bloated squad.

This ? Comments like that don't help whatsoever... back on track I reckon for the right price/contract or even a loan he could be worth a punt! Shown he can do it before

You're very selective in those you choose to recognise as having problems.

maybe not as clever as you think.

Derby, Hull City and Reading have all been linked with the 30-year-old who is deemed surplus to requirements at Villa Park.

Sunderland have also mooted as potential destination for the Scot though, contrary to some reports, it is understood no discussions have yet taken place between the Mackems and Villa over a possible move.

McCormack was among several players left out of Villa’s travelling party for the recent pre-season trip to Germany and the club are willing to listen to offers for a player who scored only three goals last season following a £12million move from Fulham and ended the campaign on loan at Nottingham Forest.

A permanent deal would be preferred but with McCormack’s £40,000-a-week wages a stumbling block for many clubs in the second tier, another loan move has not been ruled out.

Sunderland are also thought to be rivalling Blues for defender Tommy Elphick, while left-back Aly Cissokho is expected to join Turkish club in the coming days.

Villa have made five signings so far this summer and Bruce remains keen on bringing in another attacking player.

Didn't want him before, let alone with £40k wages..
