There are a few Irish pubs in Kaiserslautern, also with good local German beer. And several American or American influenced bars and pubs as Kaiserslautern has a huge American community (US hospital, air base etc.). Been there twice for away games. I thought the German people were very nice and welcoming I also thought their country was really nice. I dare say it will still a nice place to go today. Vi Va le Germany.
