Makes me wonder whether it was Koeman or Steve Walsh who sanctioned the signings. Why spend so much money on three players - Rooney, Sigurdsson and Klaassen - who all play in the same position? They bought in Keane too for big bucks so they can play three at the back. But in order to play that way they need genuine width and a focal point uptop. They didn't bother to buy a CF after losing Lukaku and they have no attacking wide players. A terrible transfer window has put them in this spot. No thought at all and now they're stuck with players on big wages who will have to be played out of position to accomodate them - remind you of anyone? Ok, got it wrong with Johnson, they’re doing ok, I just had a feeling Shakespeare was a bit of a flash in the pan and would get the bullet first. Forgive me having the tiniest gloat, I don’t get stuff right that often. bah, forgot the Dutch fella got the boot at Palace, f#£&*@# planet, can’t have me little gloat now, made a cup of tea and everything.
